NBSJ understands the challenges involved with changing wear plates onsite through poor bucket and wear package design. NBSJ’s bucket rebuilds, bucket wear attachments, and wear packages are not only design to last in the toughest mining condition they are designed to reduce the exposure to our workers on the front line. By using this proven system of making our wear plates smaller and easier to handle it reduces the exposure of manual handling injuries when removing and installing wear plates and reduces the need for mechanical lifting aids. By making the plates smaller it eliminates the stored energy in the plate when gouging them off which is also known as elastic spring back.
